We are proud to introduce Salty Wear
This has been a long inspired dream that first took place years back when living in San Francisco. It all started from 2001-2003 as I had designed a series of dog beds and pet shelters for PAWS (Pets Are Wonderful Support) charity events. The most memorable of these designs was a dog bed titled "Salty Paws" constructed from salvaged surfboards, and custom surfboard shaped cushions. Not knowing at the time, this concept slowly grew to our new custom apparel labeled Salty Wear.
Salty Wear continued to evolve, as we tested printing methods that used salt water to set inks and dyes into fabric (our initial founding concept and name). While exploring apparel printing we have also been developing our skills by providing logo and graphic design for USA Synchronized Swimming, Hawaii Synchro, local Surfboard shapers and Hawaiian Outrigger Canoe clubs. Among this list we are especially honored to have provided Hui Nalu Canoe Club with there website and logo design since 2007. Just like perfecting that new recipe, we have a great "test group" in our Ohana, who are always excited to find out what "gifts" they would be getting from us for birthdays and Christmas. These "one of a kinds" now looking back are simple pieces of the Salty Wear evolution over the past 10 years.
